We seek your participation to make the 12th anniversary of the 'Bringing Them Home' report a key factor in the recognition of Australia's Stolen Generations. You can remind the current administration about this issue and you can show your solidarity for genuine remembrance and healing by wearing a native hibiscus flower on May 26, 2009.

We are seeking reliable people or groups wishing to act as distributors for the flower.
The terms are negotiable depending on quantities ordered with the base price starting at $1.50 each if you order a box of 48 flowers on cards. The flowers can be sold to the public for $2.00 each. Please contact us for full details on 08 9193 6502 or email us at ksgac@iinet.net.au.

Stolen Generation Commemorative Flower:
For the mothers and children of the Stolen Generation

The commemorative 'silk' flower has been created as a national emblem of the Stolen Generations. This was initially proposed by members of the Kimberley Stolen Generation Aboriginal Corporation, and later endorsed by the National Sorry Day Committee. It is wholeheartedly supported by the Stolen Generations Alliance.
This flower was adopted because it is found widely across Australia and it is a survivor. Its colour denotes compassion and spiritual healing.
The Kimberley Stolen Generations Aboriginal Corporation has produced a large quantity of silk imitation native hibiscus flowers. They can be purchased in time for Sorry Day, 26 May 2009. $80 per box of 48 flowers (including $8 postage) or for smaller quantities $2.00 per flower post-free. Orders can be placed on this website by email or by using the PayPal service below.
