bullet  General Notes:

NOTE: On Annie Murrell's marriage - mother's name given as Mary Ann Murrell. There is a marriage of Richard Murrell to Mary Ann McMillan, but not till 1903, after Elizabeth's death in 1901.
The Examiner 22/8/1902, In Memorium: In remembrance of Mrs R Murrell who died 23 August 1901. Gone from earth, how sadly we miss you, dear loving mother, thy memory I'll keep; Never till lifes end will I ever forget you. Dear to my heart is the place where you sleep. 'Tis sinful, I know, to wish you were here. But life is so lonely without one so dear. A mother so loving, so faithful and kind - Hard, hard in this world is her equal to find. Inserted by her loving daughter Annie Shepperd, Treherne.
The Examiner 22/8/1902, In Memorium: In loving memory of my dear mother Elizabeth Ann Murrell, who departed this life 23 August 1901. Rest dearest mother, thy toil is over, Thy loving hands shall toil no more; No more thy gentle eyes shall weep, Rest darling mother, gently sleep. Thou art not forgotten dearest mother, Or wilt thou ever be; As long as life and memory last I will remember thee. - Inserted by her loving daughter R. Murrell.
