Possibly died 9 Sept 1957, buried Fingal Tas (TAMIOT 1999, p3512) - incorrect according to David Murrell (grandson of Charles). Further information from David:
as far as I know he joined a circus at the approx age of 17 and came to New Zealand He served in the Army during WW1. He married a Vera Preston about 1921 they had 4 children. They lived in Auckland until about 1931 when they shifted to a small town by Raglan about 1931 Vera died 31/12/1931 and was buried in Hamilton. Not sure what happend to Charles for a while as the chidren went to live else where. Then I have Charles James Louis again in about 1962 in Tauranga. He then shifted to Gisborne at about 1963 where he passed away on the 18 Mar 1965.
