"Trendi" Geraniums 2007

New Australian Geraniums bred from Australian and UK imported stock. Please note Geranium Cottage

WA are the only Geranium breeders in WA and the only geranium nursery in Perth. We are 3000 kms

from Melbourne (same distance as London to Moscow). Most other Geranium or Pelargonium breeders

have recently died, retired or closed down due to drought. About 50% of ALL AUSTRALIAN NURSERIES

have gone out of business due to drought and water restrictions.

We realise that a few of these varieties new to us may be very similar to cultivars in UK but we are very

greatful to increase our gene pool. We recognise a number of so called UK varieties like Stellars were

originally bred in Australia but unfortunately we have lost many varieties through floods and droughts

in the last ten years. Being remote we love to get e-mails form interstate and overseas, particularly from

our English friends. Australians generally insist on calling our favourite plants Geraniums with the
