LEGEND ACOUSTICS

Kama 3

"Legend's Kamas have a very dynamic and exciting sound quality..... the bass is fast, tuneful and.....the speakers will never sound edgy or harsh, even at high volume." Sydney Morning Herald 'the guide' Oct 22-28 2001

The Kamas are floor-standing loudspeakers reproducing the full range of frequencies, from deep bass to sparkling highs. Like all loudspeakers in the Kangaroo range, they have the fast, open sound making them equally ideal for reproducing the dynamics of 'live' music and the drama of home theatre.

Nic Tatham, editor of Audio Video Lifestyle magazine, said in his review "The most noticeable sonic quality of the Kamas is their ability to sound wholly clean, natural and accurate. These speakers pull no punches, and are incredibly true to life in their handling of recorded musical material".

Since these reviews we have further reduced resonances in both the drivers, cabinets and crossovers to give an even flatter frequency response (to better than 2 dB) and faster decay (to 0.1% in 1 ms) resulting in a very fast open sound.

However, because they have such high fidelity to the signal that is fed to them, the Kama 3s will sound poor if they are fed poorly recorded music or through poor front end electronics. Conversely, fed with well-recorded music through high quality front-end electronics, the Kama 3s will sound superb in any top-of-the-range stereo system. They also make excellent front speakers in a high quality home-theatre surround-sound system when combined with other fast open Legend speakers such as the Kanga 2s and Joey 2s.
