Kurre
"These are sweet, smooth and
balanced speakers. They tame vocal sibilance, yet
remain very accurate .... Imaging is excellent with a real
three-dimensional result".
Australian HiF Feb/March 2000
"Thank you for making such a fine speaker in Australia -
I can buy the best and Australian!"
Michael Ashby Essendon Victoria October 2001
The Kurres are compact loudspeakers which can be used
either on a shelf, on stands or mounted on brackets on a
wall. Like all loudspeakers in the Kangaroo range they use
indeginous Australian names for kangaroos because of their
fast, open sound. This makes them equally ideal for
reproducing the live music of concerts and the drama of home
theatre, either by themselves or with other Legend
loudspeakers.
In the Sydney Morning Herald of 2 March 1998, Greg
Borrowman (Editor of Australian HiFi) described the Kurres
as an "inspired design........resulting in a sound quality
that is second to none". And in his review in Australian
HiFi (April 1988) he says " I finished reviewing Dr Rod
Crawford's Kurre loudspeaker nearly six month's ago .....
they sound so delicious, I really haven't been able to part
with them, so I haven't yet sent them back."
