Instructions to Task 7
Changing from One-way to Two-way
- Work in pairs (one Aboriginal person and one non-Aboriginal person).
- Develop a set of recommendations for implementing the change from One-way to Two-way education in your district.
- Identify any barriers to your implementation and refer to your strategies for overcoming these.
- Identify any opportunities that can be improved or developed to change to Two-way education.
- You might want to refer to the maps of your district to plan your strategies.
- Take your recommendations, barriers and strategies to the group for comparison and discussion.
Objectives - this task should help you to:
- Plan your first steps in implementing Two-way education,
- Develop a framework for the process of implementing change.
