Some responses to task 7
  1. Identify leaders in the school and establish partnerships;
  2. Enlist the support and expertise of the local community (Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal);
  3. Identify a school which can be developed and 'sold' as a success story;
  4. Make sure that there is Aboriginal representation on all committees;
  5. Promote Two-Way education in the School Newsletter, Curriculum News, etc;
  6. 'Talk it up' at meetings, briefings, etc;
  7. Develop induction programs for new District office staff.
