Methodology
In the Methodology chapter you describe everything that you have done. This chapter is devoted to the process of your research. You will need to describe what you did and how you went about it. This will include describing:
- how you selected your sample population/s (randomly, purposively, etc);
- how you developed your research instruments (interview schedules, tests, participant observations, etc);
- how you trialed your instruments and what modifications were required;
- how you gained approval for the research both at the university level (ethics) and at research site (permission);
- what type of analysis was used on the data;
- what problems you encountered and what limitations/bias these will have had on your research.
