Conclusions can contain two types of information:

• Recommendations
  Some research enables recommendations to be made for future policy and planning. These are usually extracted from the findings (results) and described in terms of a list of strategies for improvement.

• Implications
  Other research provides information which has implications for future practice (eg. teaching practice) if it is taken up. Implications are also extracted from the findings and presented as possibilities for improvement.
