Online writing instruction includes a range of products available for both native speakers of English and non-native speakers of English:
- Rensselear Writing Center.A guide to writing developed by the Department of Language, Literature and Communication, Rensselear Polytechnic Institute, New York. Samples include Basic Prose Style and Mechanics and Thesis/argument development.
- The Purdue On-Line Writing Laboratory (OWL).
A project supported by the School of Liberal Arts, Department of English, Purdue University, Indiana, USA. Investigate just some of the help your students can get from the Purdue Writing Laboratory. For example the parts of Speech, Punctuation, Sentences, Spelling, Academic writing, Business writing which is good for both the ESL/EFL student and the native speaker.
