Case Study
This is an indepth treatment of a particular person, group or any unit of social life (e.g. a child's language development, a family, or a workplace) from which more general conclusions can be drawn. It may be the initial step, in order to tentatively explore issues on a small scale which can then be explored with a larger sample at a later date or it may simply provide an intensive exploration of a range of issues within a designated study area.
