Plucked Strings is an established radio programme on every Sunday evening from 6 to 7pm. The programme was presented for many years by Naomi Millett and now by Natalie Ong, Rebecca Burgess and Graham Hawkes. They present a varied programme of music from the rich world of the guitar and related instruments, notice of guitar events, live performances, new releases, Guitar Society news, interviews and requests. The RTRFM web site offers live broadcast, re-streaming from archives of previous shows and playlists.

2012 Adelaide International Classical Guitar Competition

Attracting competitors from all over the world, this is the most prestigious guitar competition in the southern hemisphere. Held in conjunction with the Adelaide International Guitar Festival, the competition provides a unique opportunity for emerging artists to gain exposure and experience on an international stage through performing at a world renowned festival, and will be adjudicated by a panel of established players and teachers from around Australia as well as a number of high profile international artists who will be performing at the Festival in 2012.
