Notice of Intention to Enter

Please find enclosed Notice of Intention to Enter Form 99.1.2V which should be completed and returned no later than 24 May 2008. In addition to “A” teams please indicate the likelihood of “B” teams being entered.

Playing Venue

This will be the Kingsway Indoor Stadium in Madeley which is the same venue which was used in 2001. The stadium will be laid out to comfortably accommodate 30 tables. Photos of the interior and exterior of the stadium have been posted on the Association web site at www.watta.net.au

Wind Up Function

Finding a venue sufficiently large to cater for over 300 persons initially proved to be quite a problem. A suitable venue has now been located and booked being the Chuh Wah Cultural Centre 18 Radalj place Balcatta. This is in a Northern Suburb and easily accessible by the main arterial roads to the north.

Asian Contacts

Although it is possible to correspond with Asian countries through their official contacts, it is better if contact can be made direct with their relevant veteran’s organisations.

An attempt to secure such information from the organisers of the Philippines Veterans event held in November 2007 has proved unsuccessful.

If anyone has any information on Veterans contacts in Asian countries please contact me either by phone or e-mail.
