| Before you can difuse a bomb you must first locate it. Typically, a bomb is made up of a clock, dynamite, and some wires (see picture). If you are looking at a boxy sort of thing with moving pictures then you are probably looking at a television. Do not attempt to difuse your television. | |

Disarming the bomb is a simple matter of cutting a wire. To do that safely you will need to use the correct tools. You must only use wire cutters to cut wires. A common mistake that is often made by first timers is to try to shoot the wires with a pistol. A pistol is highly dangerous, and should only be used for opening cans and reinacting William Tell's acheivements.
DISARMING THE BOMB
It is relatively easy to disarm a bomb. Before you start cutting, ensure you know which wire to cut. Firstly you decide which wire you will cut. Do do this, simply place the wire cutters over either the blue or red wire, and then hesitate. Second guess yourself, and then move the cutters over the other wire. Hesitate again, and then cut the wire you decided on originally. If all goes well you should have disarmed the bomb and lived to tell the tale. If you have cut the wrong wire, be sure to utter an expletive which will get cut short by a fiery explosion. If you're going to be blown to bits you should at least be cool about it.
