Carpet Cleaners Competencies get Closer

Jo Gibney, the consultant appointed by the National Management Committee for the Review of the Asset Maintenance Training Package, in the area of Carpet Cleaning, recently visited the Master Cleaners Guild of Western Australia in her "tour round the country".

A workshop, chaired by Paul Throns of Integrity Cleaning and also Chair of the Carpet Cleaning Competencies Review Group, had been arranged in the prestigious Fremantle Chambers of Commerce Board room by Frank Holguin of Southern Cross Cleaning.

The WA team was delighted with the progress being made in ensuring Carpet Cleaners training will very shortly have nationally accredited criteria, which technicians will be benchmark against, in a similar way Commercial Cleaners have had for the past 3 years.
