I  worked hard to find a new palette of colours to reflect the majesty and mystery of the south west region of West Australia.  After experimenting with many combinations of watercolours I was able to come up with some colours that I feel transmit the atmosphere of this great region.  I have tried to use natural features of the landscape (such as boulders, groves of trees, luminous light) to reflect how this area affects me.  In particular one golden afternoon at Two People Bay where time stood still and the wind held its breath and you could have walked on the water.
