Golden Rough's output spans almost a decade, two EPs and three albums including the critically aclaimed This Sad Paradise (1999) and Provenance (2002).

Although the band is on an extended hiatis, their back catalogue is still winning fans and is now available from the Big Fan Records online store.
Provenance proves itself as a unique example of indie-pop with a country edge, and Golden Rough seem to be one of few Australian bands that attempt this mixture successfully.
