Welcome to my Homepage. I hope you enjoy browsing the many records I have collected.

I was born in Broken Hill and have lived in the area all my life, including 12 years in Menindee. I first became interested in history when my family were licensees of  Maidens Hotel in the early 1990's and have continued the research since my retirement.

One of my main interests is small station cemeteries and lone graves, which are scattered throughout the area. Before the time that undertakers handled funeral arrangements, people were usually buried close to where they lived and died.
