Mollie

1993 – 2006

Mollie came to us early in 1994 and we called her ”Mollie Mouse”.  This quickly changed to “Mollie the Rat” – she was very bright and full of mischief.  When finally I took her tracking, it was as if she found what she was meant to do and she did it brilliantly.  Above all she loved being in the pine forest, whether it was tracking or just walking (except that she never walked anywhere !). Sadly Mollie had a stroke about two years ago and after that her health slowly deteriorated.  She kept her love of life to the end and still demanded her walk and her dinner with all her old enthusiasm.

Mollie Dog, you have given me so many memories – I loved you dearly, friend and companion for thirteen years. Now you can run, play and follow tracks again, just as you did when you were young.
