Permanent Entry Visas
Permanent entry visa applications from Argentina (and all other Central and South American countries) are lodged, processed and decided in Santiago, Chile.

While permanent entry visa applications may be lodged at any post, it is recommended that they be lodged direct with Santiago, as forwarding documents from other posts can take up to a month. However, fees/charges can be paid at any post, and the receipt should then be sent by the applicant with the application direct to Santiago.

Temporary Entry Visas
Temporary entry visa applications from Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay are processed and decided in Buenos Aires.

Special Procedures
All requests from Australia and other posts for penal checking for periods of residence in Argentina MUST be accompanied by a signed consent form.
