Ah...those cute indie boys. You've really gotta love them. I'm sorry if that one was a bit too below the belt. It really wasn't meant to offend or be taken too seriously...
So anyway, last night I had a great rite of passage. Driving back from a club, nearing midnight, I see lights flashing in the near-distance. Blue and red lights. It was a random breath testing stop! I was amazed, because I've been driving for nearly exactly a year and have never been stopped yet. So I got nervous...what was I supposed to do? How was I supposed to act? Lucky for me, I was met by a very friendly and polite cop who gave me the test and laughed that he 'nearly caught me out' for not having my 'P's on. Five minutes after the experience, I was elated. Honestly, you could not stop me talking. I thought the whole thing was fantastic. I was annoying the hell out of my sobering friend by not shutting up about the damn thing. And then, wouldn't you know it, but 2 minutes away from my house and I get stopped by another one. I want to thank those 2 cops though, because they were both extremely nice and I'm pretty ceartain if I was confronted by a gestapo-esque official barking orders at me, I'd be scarred for life with a strange complex about breath tests.
After all that, I came home and watched True Romance. Woo! Everyone go hire it out now. I could empathize with how she fell in love with Christian Slater within the first 5 minutes though, because after 5 minutes of the movie I had fallen in love with him. And isn't that just typical- fallen in love with a fictional character.
Also, sorry for Wednesday's comic being posted on Thursday instead. I could lie and say that I was busy and didn't have time to do it until then, but the truth is that I went through the whole week thinking that what I thought was Wednesday, was actually Thursday. Yep, I'm a strange one. Apologies.
ps- picnic was dandy. Picnics are entirely under-rated.
