DS LCD Replacement or Repair
No DS Fault is more common than a DS LCD Replacement or
Repair. Both the bottom and top screen replacements are extremely fragile items
and can be damaged by being dropped , exposed to heat , manufacturing issues or
even a heavy or mild hit while the hinge is open. DS Lite LCD replacements are by far the most common
due to their fragile nature, but all NDS
systems suffer from this problem including DSi , DSi XL , DSL , NDS and maybe
even the soon-to-be-released 3DS consoles. This DS problem is quite easy to
troubleshoot as often the LCD is physically smashed or cracked after dropping,
displays white or garbage, or even flickers when the hinge position is moved. The DS touchscreen can also break which will
generally manifest itself with the touch screen no longer functioning. If DS

DS Hinge Broken commonly DS Lite hinge
Broken hinges are common on NDS consoles and chances are it's not only a DS Lite
but a DS Lite with a broken hinge. While all the Nintendo handhelds suffer from
this problem including the NDS , DSi XL , DSi and possibly even the future 3DS,
it is mostly the Nitendo DS Lite that cracks the hinge leaving the console to
become either inoperable and not turn on or the DS casing to become floppy and
droop. This can be caused by your handheld being dropped , hit or in some way
