SunDriver -All models- Run Wii / GC Games from an internal laptop SATA or
IDE hard disk $129 inc GST
The SunDriver is the first internal hard drive solution for
the Wii that allows gamers to load Wii & GC backup games to a laptop harddisk that fits
neatly inside the Wi console. Unlike the WODE, the Sun Driver completely
replaces the DVD-ROM drive allowing SATA or CF Cards / IDE hard drives to be
connected (there are two models of SunDrive SATA & SunDrive IDE / CF). The end result is
superbly quick game loading, a neat setup with no external hard drives hanging
on the side of the Wii, and incredible game compatibility including support for
games that software USB loaders have issues with like New Super Mario Bros,
Metriod Prime, and Super Smash Bros Brawl.
Our
cost of $129 inc GST includes installation, software, USB transfer cable, and install of
your own supplied 2.5” laptop SATA or IDE hard disk. We also can supply you with
the 2.5” laptop SATA hard disk; and at the time of writing the 320 gigabyte
drive is $89.00, or the 500 gigabyte drive is $119.00. The SunDriver also allows
3.5” PC hard disks to be installed, however the case can not be fully enclosed
which is why 2.5” laptop drives are recommended instead. SunDrive also supports
v4 Wii’s with the serial number over LAH1162xxx as it replaces the dvd-rom
board.
