Please note this mod chip install is specifically for the very late model PS2 slims released in 2008 with the model number 79002 or 90002 (For PS2 Slim mods on models 70002, 75002, or 77002 look above)  and is more costly due to the complexity of the installation. For these models we use the very best PlayStation 2 mod chip, the Modbo v4.0 or the Mars GH-816 HD, fully installed for only $149.00 save 20 dollars on our Perth W.A. competitors! Once the Modbo / Mars PS2 Slim chip is installed (based on the Matrix Infinity chip) it allows Direct (automatic) booting of all PS2 as well as PS1 backup, import, original, and overseas games.  DVD Movies are also catered for with copy and region-free support. This PS2 mod also offers almost perfect support for all games including Dual Layer discs, and dev 1 / dev 2 support for homebrew applications. Other features include a color fix for NTSC US & JAP games, macrovision disable for DVD ripping, fast-boot mode, and the Matrix boot menu allowing configurable chip options.
