16th Jan 2012 iXtreme LT+ 3.0 now released for Slim LiteOn, Fat Xbox 360 LiteOn & BenQ Drives - Other Drives Coming Soon

iXtreme LTplus 3.0 has now been released for Slim 360 Liteon Drives, as well as Fat BenQ and LiteOn drives. This C4EVA is non-critical but fixes the issue for anyone who updated the 14699 dashboard.

17th November 2011 - A New Silent Xbox Live Update blocks backup AP2.5 games from playing & may get you banned on Xbox Live if you play Backup Games Online

As stated above do not go on Xbox Live, use at your own risk. We will let you know once a solution is released whether this solution is a ABGX patch, a new mod, or another method altogether.

20th October 2011 - Xbox 360 Dashboard Update 13604 - UPDATE AT YOUR OWN RISK

A new Xbox Live only update has hit the market, Microsoft states that it adds no new features though we have heard rumours that it adds support for steering wheels. Whatever its purpose its a good idea not to update as updating can have you banned on Xbox Live. The update may be used to detect iXtreme, Wasabi 360, JTAG, or Xkey mods.

20th October 2011 - iXtreme LT+ 2.0 Release for Slim Xbox 360

Yeap its here! LT 2.0 is now out for Slim Xbox 360s as well for all drives except the Hitachi 0500. Features are the same as below for FAT Xbox 360 consoles. LT 2.0 also now supports the LiteOn 1071 Drive.

3rd October 2011 - iXtreme LT+ 2.0 Now Out for Fat Xbox 360s with XGD3 Game Support

iXtreme LT+ 2.0 adds XGD3 support thanks to the LT-Max feature. XGD3 is a new game format that adds extra space to discs. XGD3 is currently not popular but used on games like Gears of War 3, Driver: San Francisco, , Rage, among others. LT+ 2.0 is available for all original Xbox 360 consoles not including Hitachi drives, but is not yet available for ANY Xbox 360 Slim consoles.

15th September 2011 - iXtreme 1.92 now released for Xbox 360 Slim Only

iXtreme LT+ 1.92 is now out for Xbox 360 S consoles, the update is non-critical fixing Play DVD errors that some Xbox 360 slim consoles experienced. We reccomend waiting for LT 2.0 which adds support for XGD3 Games.

20th August 2011 - iXtreme 1.91 now released

iXtreme 1.91 is a non-critical update release for all drives except the Toshiba-Samsung and early Hitachi (pre 78 - 79). The mod is only for those who use Xbox Live and had to update to the 13599 dashboard update therefore causing their AP2.5 (now called AP2.6) games to stop working.

7th August 2011 - Xbox 360 Slim Mod iXtreme 1.91 released for Slim LiteOn 9504, 0225, 0401, & 0272

95% Xbox 360 Slims are now moddable with the exception of the Hitachi 500 & LiteOn 1071 which both are very rare. We can now offer this mod even if you have updated to 13599 System Update. Price varies depending on which on Xbox 360 slim modchip so check our main page.

19th July 2011 - Xbox 360 13599 Update Now Out - WARNING DO NOT UPDATE!

A new dashboard update has surfaced from Xbox 360 which is currently available online. The update add no current features, but does add more anti-mod protection. We of course recommend not to update as the update could get you banned, stuff up your console, and will definitely stop AP2.5 Games from working. Unfortunately if you want to go online you must update, and if you update you risk of being banned. We recommend staying off update live until LT 2.0 is released.

  • AP2.5 Games Will No Longer Work. ABGX patches will fix this issue
  • Updating will likely ban your console on Xbox Live, stay offline and don't update until LT 2.0 is released.
  • Slim LiteOn 9504 Drives (& its updated 0272 brother) lock the SPI on the chip making the drive unmoddable just like the 0025 LiteOn Drive. Swapping the drive, drive board, or a hardware fix is likely required to re-mod.

15th July 2011 - iXtreme LT 1.9 released for Fat LiteOn, Samsung & BenQ Drives with 13146 Dashboard Support

iXtreme LT 1.9 is a updated mod for all Xbox 360s except Slim & Fat Xbox 360s with Hitachi drives. The new mod allows burnt games once again to be played for customers who have updated to the 13146 Update which deleted mods. AP2.5 Games will all need to be reburnt due to the changes in the AP2.5 Replay Sector.

19th May 2011- Xbox 360 2.0.13146.0 Update Now Out - WARNING DO NOT UPDATE!

The new Update from Microsoft is now rolling out and does indeed write to the DVDROM which overwrites all Xbox 360 mods. For this reason we do not recommend updating to the newest dashboard as your backup games will no longer play. Furthermore the Update has considerable bugs causing already many consoles to be bricked. Sadly this update only enables Paypal use and a yet to be released disc format. C4EVA & Team Xecuter are already hard at work testing iXtreme LT 2.0 but considering how many drives require new firmware this will take some time so be patient. At this time we recommend not updating and checking back on this site for details on when iXtreme 2 is out for your drive.

11 April 2011- Xbox 360 New Dashboard Protection Coming soon (mid May) to block all non-AP2.5 Games Update at your own Risk

In beta testing already is a new dash 2.0.13141.0 which blocks all  Games from being played which will hit Xbox Live mid May and later game discs. This overwrites the DVD-ROM flash which would mean all drives would need to be reflashed (remodded) with possibly a new mod in order to play backup games again. Also a new disc format called XGD3 is coming soon which adds 1GB space to each DVDROM. Included in this extra space is anti-mod protection. These updates make grabbing the $30.00 12-month upgrade option an almost must have when you have your console modded. So be warned do not update once the new dashboard is released, its likely all of your backup games will stop playing. Update at your own risk!

9 April 2011 - Xbox 360 Slim 9504 Drive Mod Now Out.

As stated above the Xbox 360 Slim mod (9504 Drive only) is now out. Sadly the 0225 & 0500 Drives are still not moddable watch this space for more info. For Xbox 360 Slim mod 9504 drive info click above.

19th January 2011 - New Xbox 360 12625 released today blocks Call of Duty: MW2 & BlackOps, & Halo: Reach

News has come in today that the new 12625 released on the 19th Jan 2001 blocks Call of Duty MW2 & Black Ops as well Halo:REACH from playing on some Xbox 360 drives. C4EVA maker of the iXtreme firmware has commented that iXtreme LT+ users should be safe online, and that no mod upgrade will be required for the problem instead the 3 affected games will simply need repatching with the upcoming ABGX software.

28th December 2010 - iXtreme LT + 1.1 RELEASED FOR XBOX 360 HITACHI - AP 2.5 GAME PROTECTION SUPPORT & SAFE XBOX LIVE USE

Ixtreme LT + aka Ixtreme Lite Touch Plus is now available for all Hitachi drives. New AP 2.5 game copy protection is packed with the Xbox 360 November 2010 dashboard update. This blocks new backup games with  "This disc is unreadable" error message on games including Fable 3, Sims 3, Assassin Creed: Brotherhood, and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit among others. Please note Hitachi drives (36, 46, 47, 57, & 58 drives - NOT 78 / 79) are unaffected by AP2.5 protection and therefore are fine with iXtreme 1.51 making this update not critical for older Hitachi drives. iXtreme LT + is now even safe online  (with the use of ABGX to check discs for stealth) for use on Xbox Live (use at your own risk). However be aware that if you have updated to the new November 2010 dashboard and have attempted to boot an AP2.5 game (with Hitachi 78/79 drives) with iXtreme 1.51 or older then you have been flagged to be banned which just means its a matter of time before Microsoft bans you even if you do update to iXtreme LT+ 1.1 Hitachi.

12th December 2010 - iXtreme LT + 1.1 RELEASED FOR XBOX 360 LITEON AND BENQ DRIVES - MINOR UPDATE XBOX 1 GAME SUPPORT & PFI CORRECTIONS

This is a minor update to fix the xbox 1 game support as well as add PFI correction to increase readability on low quality blank media (which you shouldn't be using anyway). Please note there were no patches for security holes for Xbox Live which has been confirmed by C4EVA (iXtreme creator) himself "pfi to give better reading of disks, no security holes!" as many were confusing being banned with LT+ as they had previously been banned because they updated to the Kinect update 12611 BEFORE upgrading to LT+!

1st December 2010 - iXtreme LT + RELEASED FOR XBOX 360 LITEON AND BENQ DRIVES - AP 2.5 GAME PROTECTION SUPPORT & SAFE XBOX LIVE USE

Ixtreme LT + aka Ixtreme Lite Touch Plus is a whole new way to mod the Xbox 360 and now supports AP 2.5 copy protected games and is also safe to use on Xbox Live (use at your own risk) unlike older mod firmwares including iXtreme L.T. iXtreme LT Plus is suitable for LiteOn 73450c, LiteOn 83850c, and BenQ, drives and fully installed is only $59.00, or is $79.00 for LiteOn 83850c v2 / 93850c drives otherwise known as the LiteOn V2. New AP 2.5 game copy protection is included on the Xbox 360 November 2010 dashboard update. This blocks new backup games with the "This disc is unreadable" error message on games including Fable 3, Sims 3, Assassin Creed: Brotherhood, and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit among others. Please note Toshiba-Samsung and some Hitachi drives (46, 47, 57, & 58 drives - NOT 78 / 79) are unaffected by AP2.5 protection and therefore can play these games with iXtreme L.T. (there is no LT+ release for Toshiba Samsung expected). iXtreme LT is now even safe online  (with the use of ABGX to check discs for stealth) for use on Xbox Live (use at your own risk). However be aware that if you have updated to the new November 2010 dashboard and have attempted to boot an AP2.5 game with iXtreme LT or older then you have been flagged to be banned which just means its matter of time before Microsoft bans you even if you do update to iXtreme LT+

30th OCTOBER 2010 - XBOX 360 NOVEMBER 2010 UPDATE TO ISSUE BAN WAVE & BLOCK NEW GAMES LIKE FABLE 3 - UPDATE AT YOUR OWN RISK -- IXTREME LT+ IS COMING

Sadly the Xbox 360 November 2010 update is said to come with new AP2.5 which require a new firmware plus SSv3 security checks to defeat. What does mean? It means that once you update to the new Nov 2010 update you run the risk of being banned even if you don't go online! Are you still Online after the update but still not banned? Microsoft works by flagging all those to be banned, then later on will ban a large number of users in one hit (this is expected to hit December 2010). The second problem is that your backup copy of Fable 3 has been confirmed not to work after updating and in some cases before updating. This is also because of the new anti piracy utilized on new game discs and the Nov 10 update. Only Fable 3 so far is confirmed not working but more games will no doubt surface soon. It must be noted that only the backup version of Fable 3 doesnt work, your original game disc still works fine.

So what to do if you have a modded console and don't want to be banned? Simply don't go online, don't update (including the Fable 3 update included on the game disc), and sit back and wait for C4E to work on iXtreme LT+ firmware (now released 1st Dec 2010). For those who opted for the $30.00 12 months upgrade package then you are in luck as soon as the iXtreme LT+ firmware is released your mod upgrade will be free, just make sure you keep your receipt that states you opted for the 12 months upgrade option. Watch this space for the new iXtreme LT+ firmware's release (now out!), please do not email us or call asking when it will be finished as we simply don't know.

12 August 2010 - iXtreme LT for Toshiba-Samsung Drives Released

Ixtreme LT has finally made its way to the Toshiba-Samsung drive. Much like previous iXtreme LT incarnations for others drives LT offers waveless gaming (play all game waves) and is safe to date to use online (use at your own risk). For those who purchased Xbox 360 mods for the Samsung drive from us before 1 August 10 and opted for the $30 12-months upgrades then you can drop into our shop for a free upgrade (bring your receipt). For those who want the upgrade but didn't purchase the 12-months free upgrades then the cost is $59.00 for re-flashing. Ixtreme LT 1.2 for BenQ and iXtreme LT 1.1 for LiteOn Drives have also been released. Both releases however unlike the Toshiba-Samsung are not critical updates. Both releases only allow slightly improved readability for poor quality blank discs but do not improve readibility of the recommended Verbatim DVD+R DL media.

7 August 2010 - Wii System Menu Update 4.3 is now cracked!

We now have a Wii mod solution for those systems that have unfortunately updated online to the 4.3 system update. The update much like update 4.2 made it impossible to play overseas games on a modded machine, however we can now mod these machines to play all oversea games! For just $25 we can restore the region-free when you have any of our hardware mods installed or $40 if you had a modchip previously installed from us @ Mod Xpress or from another modder.

1 August 2010 - Wii System Update 4.2 now available on game discs; beware update at your own risk.

The Wii System Update 4.2 that was released now almost a year ago online has finally made its way to Wii game discs. The first games to feature the update include Super Mario Galaxy 2, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and Endless Ocean 2; but the update may exist on more games by now. For those who have their Wiis modded we recommend not updating with this update and instead using the Gecko OS software used through the homebrew channel to bypass the update. For those who don't have the homebrew channel installed drop around to our store and for just $40 and on the spot we can install the homebrew channel and GeckoOS for you. The 4.2 update officially blocks the region-free support of modchips and deletes the homebrew channel, so if you accidently updated we offer the above service for $40 to reinstall the homebrew channel.

25th June 2010 - Wii System Menu Update 4.3 is now available online, update at your own risk.

The Wii System Update 4.3 is now available online, we recommend our customers not update to this new update. Once again Nintendo have decided add to no new features much like System Update 4.2 making it completely useless instead focusing on blocking softmod exploits including deleting the homebrew channel, and deleting exploits such as HackMii and BannerBomb. What this means for our customers is don't update. If you update you will lose your homebrew channel and with BannerBomb and HackMii being blocked there is no way to reload the Homebrew channel to run GeckoOS at this time (we now have a solution to crack 4.3, look above). If you are jumping from 4.1 System Update or earlier then you will also lose the region-free function of your modchip much like with Nintendo System Update 4.2. For those of you who are also thinking about getting a Wii modchip done in the future refrain from updating as we can't run the homebrew channel and therefore can't deliver perfect region-free support for overseas games.

For those who have accidently updated to 4.3 we will let you know as soon as fix (a fix is now found, look above)  is found through this page and start offering a service to reinstall GeckoOS and therefore region-free support.

10th April 10 - WODE v2.0 firmware out new with new disc ripping feature

Yeap its finally here the WODE team have made good of their promises and have now made available the v2.0 firmware which supports disc ripping. This means your games can now be backed up to a USB Hard Disk or Thumbdisk via the disc ripping menu of the WODE.

10th March 10 - New BenQ iXtreme LT mod for Xbox Live Play

iXtreme LT is now available for those Xbox 360 owners with the BenQ drive meaning iXtreme L.T. is now available for all Xbox 360s made since 2008. iXtreme LT is invisble and safe for  use Xbox Live. LT is also waveless meaning an updated firmware won't be required for each new game wave format released by Microsoft.

21st Jan 10 - New iXtreme LT (iXtreme 1.7) mod for Xbox Live Play

The much awaited iXtreme L.T. firmware is finally here and offers minimal patching in order to evade Microsoft's stealth checks which caused Xbox 360 mod users to be banned after updating to the newest Microsoft update released in November 2009. iXtreme Lite Touch in association with ABGX software which can tell you whether or not your disc is properly burnt and therefore stealth. The result is that iXtreme 1.7 is now safe for Xbox Live use, though all care and testing was taken by the iXtreme team; all risks associated with Xbox Live use are yours. iXtreme LT is also waveless meaning mod updates are no longer needed when each new wave is released. Currently Ixtreme LT is only available for LiteOn users which comprises all Xbox 360s manufactured or fixed by Microsoft after March 2008. Older Hitachi /Samsung iXtreme LT versions are expected to be released possibly by February or March.

30th Nov 09 - Xbox Live Bans & Wave-4 Game issues

Users of modded consoles should disconnect their 360s from Xbox Live or use at their own risk. Microsoft have been banning consoles either because of detecting the mod or backup discs, at the moment no-one knows for what reason. The ban permanently bans the Xbox 360 from Xbox Live (unless a fix is found) and can cause some HDD features to be disabled such as loading full games to the hard disk, media center extender capabilities, and more. Users should stay away from Xbox Live until the ban wave ends by disconnecting their network cables or wireless connections, or a new mod is released (which may or may not require some backup games to be reburnt). Please check our site for updates to the situation or new Ixtreme releases to fix the issue. We will be offering updates to mods for all customers who have previously had their Xbox 360 modded by us for only $39.00.

5th Oct 2009: Wii System Update 4.2

On 1st Oct Nintendo have released a new system update 4.2 that blocks the use of some import games not through blocking the chip but by adding extra checks to the operating system. Update at your own risk. The update is currently only available through online access. To be 100% safe we recommend staying offline with your Wii, however all Wii updates to date have made the user agree to a disclaimer before updating so its probably safe to go online as long as you don't agree to the update. Still we recommend being careful when online. The update was Nintendo's attempt to stop software mods and delete homebrew applications from gamers channels however it seems that while they couldn't stop modchips they have managed to implement additional region-free checks which affects the booting of NTSC games.

A fix has already been found but its only temporary solution requiring system software to be downgraded, we will update if and once a better fix is found until then we can not stress enough that you should not update in any situation as the Wii update has no new features and can actually kill your Wii.

Sadly the problem extends further than just modded machines and reports from the net including Nintendo own forums are saying that some standard and modded wiis are being killed by the updateA quick google search of "wii system update 4.2" or click here  sadly reveals many horror stories. Another informative webpage can also be found here . The problem even convinced Nintendo to release this informal statement on their forums.

"

Some of you have reported problems with your Wii console after updating to the Wii System Menu 4.2. The symptoms most people are describing usually occur when the Wii has been modified. However, some of you also mention your system has never been modified.

We'd like to help get your system working properly again. If you're experiencing problems with your Wii console after downloading Wii System Menu 4.2, and you believe your system has not been modified, please give us a call. If we find that you have a normal system and the update caused your system to not work, we'll repair it at no charge.

Please call our Customer Service Department at your earliest convenience, 1-800-255-3700. We are open 6 AM to 7 PM, Pacific Time, 7 days a week.

"

We are unaware of Nintendo's response to this so far, but it is possible that Nintendo will cancel the rollout of the system update 4.2 via Nintendo online due to the percentage of bricked Wii's already around only one day into the updates release.
