January Tango Workshop
in Launceston:
What a workshop!
Without a doubt, Tango Dancer Sarah Bonnar left an indelible mark on
each and everyone of the students attending her workshop.
Superb technique, an
easy complexity at each Tango movement, and lessons that extend far
beyond the dance itself. Sarah has again proved to her audience that
she is the best Tango dancer in Australia. We certainly made the
most out of her first (and hopefully not last!) visit to our island.
Sarah has also emailed
a set of key elements/exercises to improve your Tango dance. If you
attended her recent workshops you can get in touch with us and we'll
email/post you that information

Tango Performances:
January was certainly an intense
month in terms of CTC performances. The Summer School in Launceston run a 4
weeks Tango workshop with an average of 15 new students! The same 4 weeks
program is now been trial at Deloraine with more than 40 new Tango
students!. We also performed at Inveresk QV Museum (photo on the left)
and at the Tapas & Tango Party on 12 January 2007. Tango is booming! and there
are more incoming performances in February 2007. We start with two Tango
performances at the Launceston Festivale on 10 February 2007 at 4.30 and 7.30PM
at the Launceston City Park. Then we'll perform at the Milonga/Salsa party at
Toro's on York on 22 February 2007 and also later in March at Blue Cafe in
Inveresk (event/time TBC)
