Dancing Out at the Albert Hall: This time it'll be at the main floor with heating included! Bar and light food available all night but feel free to bring a plate.

Come and join us on Friday 20th July from 8:00PM. There will be an array of music such as Tango, salsa, ballroom, ceroc and all things Latin! We'll have a superb ambience, created by Caroline Greig's Productions, that will take you back in time.

We will also have some dancers willing to twirl a dance and teach you some of the basics so it doesn't matter if you are new to Tango or don't have a dancing partner just come & have a great time! Venue Change for our Weekly Milongas: We have moved to the Royal Oak! Friday night is Tango night in the heart of Launceston. Relaxing atmosphere, seductive music, people in red & black, drinks & nibbles, tango dancers in a circle of passion... discover our weekly Milonga at The Royal Oak Tamar Street Cnr Brisbane St in Launceston. Come and work on your style or join us for a chat from 8:30PM onwards. Feel the energy that Tango creates on each movement and it's music. Wednesday evening is Tango evening!: The Northern Club has kindly offer their inviting space to have some Tango. This aristocratic home like venue has a very pleasant bar with leather lounges, wood fire, Tango music, great floor and much more. Come and check out this superb venue and enjoy dancing the Tango this Wednesday 01 August 2007 starting from 7PM at the Northern Club @ 5/61 Cameron Street, Launceston.

We have moved into town!: The Cambalache Tango Club has been running Tango classes for beginners at the Stompin's Dance Studio located at The Quadrant Mall in the heart of Launceston! Classes are held each Friday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm (Beginners 1) and from 7:30pm to 8:30pm (Beginners 2) plus the 'Practica'. You can purchase a package for a total of 4 lessons called 'The Fundamentals of Tango' and you'll get a copy of our program and membership. The complete 4-week package costs $40 per person & individual lessons are $15 per person. Starting dates as from 22 June to 13 July 2007 AND from 20 July to 10 August 2007. Free Monthly Tango & Salsa Party: Join us on 26 of July 2007 from 7PM onwards. This combined Tango and Salsa party is open to the public and everyone with a particular interest in practicing their Salsa and Tango moves is most welcomed. Milongas around our island: The North West Tango Club in Burnie is organising their monthly Milonga at the Burnie Tango Hall on Saturday 7 July 2007. Milonga always starts at 7:30pm to midnight or longer if you want to keep going. BYO drinks and finger food to share. Entry free! Please let Horst & Brenda know if you want free accommodation at Brenda's place. There are 4 rooms available with mattresses. Please bring your own sleeping bag. Also, the Tasmanian Tango Club from Hobart is holding superb Milongas every Tuesday from 8pm onwards. Come and share the experience of Tango in Tasmania and support the arts in our community!

Tango Practices are cancelled: Our regular Tango Practices at the City Park Rotunda (Monkey's Park) on Wednesdays have been cancelled during winter time. However, get ready for the spring and summer season as everyone will be welcomed to enjoy the music & dance in this beautiful place within the hearth of Launceston.

No bookings/partners/experience required. We'll keep you posted and we'll re-start again in spring time!
