Tango is Art!:
ArtTango is a new
website dedicated to promote Tango. Most of the work
presented have been influenced by aspects of styles such as Expressionism (by Germán Caporale);
Cubism (by Liliana Desrets); Futurism (by Roberto Volta) and Realism
(by Raquel Partnoy)
primarily. These expressions of the Tango experience are not so much about
aesthetics beauty but more about being caught in this body and in
this world as separate beings. They do not transcend, as it's not about enlightenment
but is about being bound by a body who’s desire we have aimed to tame.
