Volunteers
Needed:
At the Cambalache Tango Club we need your
help. We are working on getting a group of volunteers to help with
the distribution of our flyers within the Launceston CBD. In order
to achieve an optimum numbers of Tango dancers we need your help in
placing these flyers at key shops/places in town so we hopefully
increase our numbers and create a sustainable local Tango scene . If you
invest a bit of your time and would like to help with this task,
please let us
know.

Byron Bay Tango Festival:
The Australian home of alternative lifestyles and of artistic
innovation, is the setting for the annual Byron Bay Tango Festival
from 8th to 10th September 2006. From its inception in 1998, this
festival has pioneered the "Master Class" paradigm of immersion
learning where a group of dancers journey together through an
intense series of workshops under the guidance of a master teacher.
Surrounded by the beauty and esoteric ambience of Byron Bay, the
arduous journey of the group inexorably leads the individual dancer
a little closer to the threshold of that sublime connection which we
crave for, and know to be the essence of Tango.
