and the work involved in all these activities is getting too much
for some of our members to manage on their own.

Tango Performances:
March is full of CTC performances.
Harmony Day brings opportunities for people to dance Tango and share their
passion for the dance with others in the area.
WHEN?/WHAT TIME? The CTC will be performing
from 12.00 – 12.30pm on Harmony Day, Sunday, 18th March 2007 at the Queen
Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Inveresk.
There
is also the opportunity to perform at St. Patrick's College on Harmony Day
celebrations to be held at the school on Wednesday March 21 from 1.00pm to
1.30pm at St Patrick's College, Westbury Road, Prospect. We need
females/followers for this one, so get in touch with us if you would like to
perform at St Patrick's College!

Tango & Salsa Party at Toro's on York:
Join us on 29
of
March 2007 from 7PM onwards. This combined Tango and Salsa party
is open to the public and everyone with a particular interest in
practicing their Salsa and Tango moves is most welcomed. Come and join us and be ready to have lots of fun.
Tickets are only $15 per person and you'll get a glass of Sangria
and Tapas
included with your ticket (also local Latin performances).

Burnie Milonga:
This event will
take place at the Tango Hall in Burnie on 10 March 2007 from 7pm
onwards. This Milonga is
BYO-event open to all tangueros & tangueras from everywhere.
The NW Tango Club
can also assist
you with FREE accommodation a 10 minute walk away from Tango
Hall, but please
let them know
in advance if
you intend to come. If you prefer more comfort, book into Weller's
Inn next door: phone (03) 6431 1088 or any other accommodation in
town.
There is a good
selection of music, but you are welcome to bring along your
favourite tangos, milongas and valses.

March Tango Workshop
in Hobart:
Weekend
workshops with Fabian & Karina Conca! Conca means Tango tradition in
Australia, a family connected to Tango in different times and
generations. Check their website for more information at

When? Saturday 31st
march & Sunday 1st April (Also there will be private lessons on
Monday 2nd April). The workshop will take place at the Queen’s Head

Practices: Feel free to come and join our
regular Tango Practices (free of charge) at the City Park Rotunda (Monkey's
Park) on Wednesdays only from 1:00 to 3:00 (lunch time). Everyone is welcomed to
enjoy the music & dance in this beautiful place within the hearth of Launceston.
