Iain McIntyre

Iain McIntyre has been playing in bands, hosting radio shows and writing for various publications since the late 1980s.

Recent books he has written, co-written and edited include How To Make Trouble and Influence People: Pranks, Hoaxes, Graffiti and Political Mischief Making From Across Australia (Breakdown Press, 2010), Wild About You: The Sixties Beat Explosion in Australia and New Zealand (Verse Chrous Press, 2009) and Tomorrow Is Today: Australia In The Psychedelic Era, 1966-70 (Wakefield Press, 2006). He also compiled and edited the ground-breaking comps of Australian garage and psyche to complement the last two of these books.

In 2004, Iain commenced work on the soundtrack to what was to become the found footage epic "A Warning".
