Ray Morris' Mediaeval Arms and Armour
Weddings and Wedding Swords
The wedding swords shown on this page are beautifully acid-etched with the names of the Bride and Groom and the wedding date. The names of children, grandchildren, even great-grandchildren can all be added as the years and other family landmarks pass. These swords can become family heirlooms and, although they are all wedding swords on this page, similar commemorative swords can be made for other significant occasions. The blades of the wedding swords are made from stainless steel.
Ray Morris of Mediaeval Arms and Armour also makes other items which can be used to add a special touch to a wedding - for instance handmade goblets and handcrafted metal artificial flowers.
Ray is also able to offer residents and visitors to Perth, Western Australia a wedding hire service which includes blacksmith-made candelabras and even whole suits of armour.

Beautifully Intricate or Simply Elegant:
Displayed at left is a beautiful wedding sword with a polished and etched blade, an elaborately shaped and etched cross-guard (or "quillions") and a decorative sword-knot cord with tassels.
(Price: $235.00)
If you prefer, you can choose a sword with a crossguard of simpler design such as the one shown in the picture above. This has the same etched blade and hardwood hilt as the sword shown at left.
(Price: A$185.00)
The Wedding:
A wedding sword adds a "finishing touch" to a Mediaeval-theme wedding ceremony or banquet... and that cake won't stand a chance.

The Rose:
The rose, handcrafted from steel, makes an appropriate and symbolic gift for a wedding - combining delicacy and strength.. and enduring beauty. The rose, like the wedding swords, would make a fine heirloom to pass on in years to come.
(Price: A$110.00)

Goblets:
A pair of goblets for the bride and groom to toast their future.
These are available in:
Brass (Price: A$185.00 pair)
Silver-plated (Price: A$235.00 pair)
Gold plated (Price: A$255.00 pair)
All are etched with the names of the Bride and Groom.
