Thank you for the opportunity to introduce The Individuals’ Charity (TIC).
The aim of the Individuals’ Charity Inc is to offer a different service from other charities that are currently operating.
One of the major points of difference is that we raise funds on a case-by-case basis – rather than offer an umbrella charity for a major group or cause. We believe this allows us to better focus on that individuals needs and allows for greater feedback to sponsors and our members who are helping to assist us by purchasing the required equipment or service to assist that individual.
We do not donate or provide cash to individual causes, but rather purchase or supply the equipment that is required to improve the life of the person with whom we are working.
The majority of our funds are raised through business sponsorship and memberships. This eliminates the need for fundraising using traditional methods such as quiz nights, raffles and dinner functions. This is less time consuming plus minimises overhead costs and so allows us to direct funds received to where they are intended.
