Tools
This section includes tools I've developed that are specific to the house rules as well as some general tools that I've picked up or created to assist with experience calculation and character generation.
Campaign Specific Tools
Character Generation Process. A spreadsheet that outlines the character generation process specific to this campaign.
Customised Rules. Things that have come up in the course of the game which needed clarification or had some customisation built around them.
General Scarred Lands Tools
Calendar of Ghelspad. A spreadsheet which calculates the cycle of the Nameless Orbb based on the year. Also marks key holidays celebrated in Ghelspad.
Currencies of Ghelspad. A spreadsheet that tables the coin across the continent.
Spell lists for various classes. Painstakingly constructed from information in Relics and Rituals 2.
Paladin Spells.
Sorcerer and Wizard Spells.
General Tools
Experience Calculator. A spreadsheet that I discovered a long time ago for calculating experience points. It took a little modification to get it to work correctly and I expanded it to include up to 16 players/cohorts etc. Original author details are still included.
3rd Ed Calculator. Something I put together that was primarily designed to calculate movement rates and check penalties (because I thought players were getting it wrong). Added saving throws and AC as an after thought. It's not designed to be a complete solution. Just to get it pretty much right in the most general way.
Campaign Toolkit. A .NET 2.0 campaign management tool that I wrote. This means you need the .NET framework 2.0 which is a free download from Microsoft. Does treasure generation (including RR and RR2), encounters (MM, MM2, MM3, FF, CC, CC2, CC3), spotting distances, dice rolling and tracks initiative. It's a bit crude and probably buggy but it gets the job done most of the time. The CC entries are the original CC, not the revised version. No plan to update just now as it's a massive effort. See the Nice Dice readme for dice roll verification sent from Nice Dice.
Nice Dice 3.0. A .NET 3.5 dice roller that I wrote. This means you need the .NET framework 3.5 which is a free download from Microsoft.
RoolTool 1.0. A .NET 2.0 rule lookup tool that I wrote. This means you need the .NET framework 2.0 which is a free download from Microsoft.
Map-O-Matic 1.0. A .NET 2.0 tool that I wrote. This means you need the .NET framework 2.0 which is a free download from Microsoft. This tools allows you to progressively reveal maps to your players.
