Tomato Caterpillars, these guys also like to hide among the leaves, the tip is to cut away the leaves around the fruit, so they have no place to hide, maybe a predator will come along and make a meal of them.

Throw the damaged fruit in the rubbish bin, not the compost heap.

What a mess, how to prevent  these pests? You could try spraying plants with garlic, pyrethrum or molasses, and try companion planting, or just pick them off the plant/fruit jump up and down on them, until they're squashed dead. see pest control

A Corn grub munching away on what was a good cob of corn, partly destroying  the cob. The only thing is you don't realise that they are there until it's too late, the damage is done. Sometimes they will leave a telltale sign that they are there, by leaving a sawdust trail on the top/outside of the cob. If you see this sawdust trail pull the top of the cob apart pull the grub out and destroy it and re-cover the cob. How to grow Corn
