People keep asking me how do you get rid of weeds organically?
well it's not that easy, but you try these

1. best organic way is to pull the weeds up
   either put them in the middle of a compost heap so the heat will kill the seeds
   all place them in a plastic bag, leave out in the sun for a couple of days when they are quite dead, put them in the wheeler bin, (rubbish bin)
2. don't let the weeds go to seed as this will be next years crop of weeds
3. lots of mulch on top of your garden will deter weeds from growing
4. poor hot salty water over the weeds, use a watering can, (pool salt is the cheapest)
5. with a lawn mow your lawn higher
6. black plastic, thick layer of newspaper, old carpet over the affected area weigh down with a couple of bricks, (carpet is known to leach chemicals into the soil, leave that one up to you?)

   

not really organic but safer than glypsophate

1. by a painting kerosene on the weeds with a paint brush
2. spraying a mixture of petrol and oil ("safe as long as you don't light-up a fag")
