Please use discretion when distributing this file. Colours ------- The original hardware supported a monochrome monitor - later games added a colour prom for limited colour. On the early hardware, 'colour' was emulated with coloured tape literally stuck to the video monitor. This version emulates the read & green tape commonly applied to Space Invaders video monitors. Sound ----- The sound in all these games comes from an emulation of the sound circuits in Space Invaders (programmed by Paul Walsh - more info at www.fpgaarcade.com). Although Midway produced different sound boards for later games on the BW8080 hardware, AFAIK all 4 games emulated use the Space Invaders sound. Composite Output ---------------- These versions also output a 'hybrid' overscanned NTSC composite monochrome non-interlaced signal using a resistor-ladder network on the Nanoboard user connectors. It is WIP. T.B.D. ------ * Emulate correct colours in Space Invaders Part II & Lunar Rescue. Contact =======
