NanoBoard Midway Pacman v0.92 ============================= This RBF files run the original arcade Pacman ROM image on the Altium NanoBoard. You will need a VGA monitor and a PS/2 keyboard plugged into the "PS2 KB" connector on the NanoBoard. For sound (v1.6 only) you'll need a speaker/amplifier plugged into the (green) audio output. There are two versions of the game included - one for the (prototype) v1.3 NanoBoard, the other for the (production) v1.6 NanoBoard-NB1. There is also a Virtex-II version which includes full colour and sound! After a while the sound may become garbled - reset the game to restore. Colours ------- 'Correct' tilemap colours are implemented on the Virtex-II image only. The Cyclone does not have enough RAM for attributes and sound. The colours are reasonably close to the original, given the constraints of a 16-colour palette. The dots/pills should be a very pale pink, but they've been changed to bright white rather than magenta. Sprite transparency is not right - it appears that any sprite pixel that maps to 'black' is transparent - atm only sprite (palette) index 0 is transparent.
