Please use discretion when distributing this file. It actually uses the unencrypted set (pengo2u) atm. The decryption has been implemented and appears to work, but the game does some weird things when using the unencrypted romset?!? Sound ----- The same Namco sound chip used on Pacman has been implemented. Colours ------- Pengo has a palette of 256 colours. I have made no attempt what-so-ever to emulate the correct colours at this point, other than support the 'fully black' tile attribute used to 'wipe' the Pengo title to/from the screen in attract mode. Other than this, the game appears to be perfectly playable. The current sprite/tilemap system has an x-direction granularity of two (2) pixels. As a result, all scrolling in the x direction is by 2 pixels - this will be rectified in later (64-colour) versions. T.B.D. ------ * fix x-axis granularity * colours Contact =======
