The next play day will be on Sunday November 2nd, at the Riverside Community Centre, Riverside Boulevard, Douglas, from 2.00 – 4.30. (Please don’t confuse this with the various Riverway facilities. Riverside Gardens is on the University side of the river.)
Please bring music stands, recorders, or other instrument (strings, non-transposing winds, keyboard, plucked instruments), something to share for afternoon tea and a gold coin towards expenses. The theme will be ‘The best of 2008’. If you have an item you would like to perform, please let the editor or the President know about it.
The AGM will be held from 1.30 – 2.00, before the play day. A number of positions, including that of President, will be vacant so this is your opportunity to be involved in organising the future of this Society. There are not many of us but we have been very successful. If you are interested in a position on the committee, please contact the editor or the President.
