Of Dragons and Great Basses

Dragon Early Music is closing down. The owners say they need a change but also, 'want to clear out the Dragon Cave before we close the doors - so if you have been contemplating purchasing a recorder, NOW IS THE TIME! Our existing stock is all heavily discounted - see the website for great deals.' Have a look at http://www.dragonmusic.com.au/Home.php

The NQRS is hoping to take advantage of Dragon's closure to fulfill our long standing ambition to own a great bass. Lynn Saunders is busy writing an application for an 'emergency grant' which has a short turn around time. Meanwhile if anyone would like to make a contribution to our funds that might help to bring our total up to the right number, we would love to hear from you.

Classes for adults

Classes for adults are being offered this year on Wednesday evenings. One class is for beginners and the other is guided ensemble playing. Society members and friends are very welcome. Please pass this information on to anyone you think might be interested. Contact Heather on 4778 8275.
