Live Mulataga King Crabs
From our Southern Australian Waters
These magnificent wild caught crabs are truly the test of all deep-sea crabs worldwide. They are caught from the clean waters off the edge of the Southern Australian continental shelf adjacent to Antarctica. The water depth they are from ranges from 300m to 500m with very cold water temperatures.
This cold and clean ocean water gives excellent taste and texture to the King crabs. Thus giving these enormous crabs the culinary value and status they demand at the tables of the world's top gourmets.
Size ranges are: U3kg / 3-5kg / 5kg+
The Mulataga King Crab can grow to 15kg in size!
They can live for indefinite periods live in your holding tanks at 10-12°C and will travel to most places in the world the negligible mortality.
