| Dawn Duncan purchased a small coloured flock, based mainly
on Faure Is. genetics. The Faure Is. goats are a very fine Cashgora
type of fibre. The finest and best of imported Angora genetics were infused
into the coloured herd to create the present herd structure.
The present herd contains 50-75% imported angora genetics. This has resulted in a very fine, even mohair across the herd. |
| The Kalatene Park Coloured Angoras have won Champion Coloured Angora and Champion Fleece at Wagin Woolorama 1997, 1998 and 1999 and 2000. |
