2009 Busy Bee
A Busy Bee was held at MYC on Saturday 19 September 2009.  Many important maintenance and cleaning jobs were completed to prepare the club for another season.  A highlight was the installation of some additional boat storage racks by Peter Kerrigan on the north-western side.  Thank you to all the members who came along and helped out.  A special thank you to Andrew Carter who organised a great BBQ hamburgers lunch.

2009-2010 Committee
The 2009-2010 MYC Committee has been elected following the Annual General Meeting that was held on 9 June 2009.  Jerome Toonen was elected as Commodore and Andrew Carter as Vice Commodore.  For a full list of flag officers and committee members goto the contact us page.

2008-2009 Prize Night
The Prize Night for the 2008-2009 Season was held at the Club on Saturday, 16 May 2009.  Congratulations to all the prize winners and many thanks to those that helped organise the night.  The Club Champions in each fleet were:

  • Lasers Standard: David Ponton
  • Lasers Radial:  Kim Stephens
  • Lasers 4.7:  Jack Clark-Massera
  • Mirrors:  Barry Newell & Matt Newell/Maryion Carter
  • Mixed Fleet:  Brian Plumb & Doug Bonney.

FIXTURES & KEY DATES

2009-2010 Sailing Program
The 2009-2010 Sailing Program at MYC commences on Sunday 11 October 2009 with the Opening Day.

The first Consistency Heat is on 18 October 2009 and the first Championship Heat is on 1 November 2009.
