God Bless, Gene Pitney

It is with great sadness that I update my site. Gene Pitney passed away peacefully on 5 April 2006. His music touched so many, across so many generations. He will be remembered for his humility, grace, sense of humor and his profound understanding of what his music meant to so many.

The music industry, and indeed the world, is a lesser place now for this loss.

I shall always be thankful for the wonderful times that Gene and his music have given me and those close to me. I will be forever thankful for the times I saw his brilliance in person.

Gene is survived by his wife, Lynne, and three sons. May his soul find peace with God. I have no doubt that the four corners of heaven are now being treated to the wonderful sounds that we mortals have enjoyed for so long.

I am very humbled that so many people have come to my site and that I am contributing, in a very small way, to the continued legacy of a great man.
