First to give some context this link is gives my birth brief and the names of my ancestors. My birth brief

This is a summary of the families that interest me. See also the index of persons that appear in my birth brief.

One of the major areas of my reaseach interests is the CROKER family of Ireland. I have records relating to them from the late 16th century until 1900.

This link is to an index of  CROKER deeds held in the Registry of Deeds in Ireland from 1709 until 1835 some of which I have  made abstracts.  A copy of many of my abstracts (made prior to 1995) are available at the Irish Genealogical Research Society in London.

I also have written Lotus 1-2-3 and Microsoft Excel macro spreadsheets that maintain pedigree data and produce drop line charts. The pedigree spreadsheets were used to generate the greater part of this web site in particular all the birth briefs (like this one) and the index of persons. To find out more about these spreadsheets send me an email nickred@webone.com.au.

This is a short note on some early Irish genealogy prepared for a talk at the local genealogical society.

Some cameos from 1798 as reported in the Freeman's Journal also prepared for another talk at the local genealogical society. Other notes and presentations are here.

About 12,000 indexed newspaper extracts from the Freeman's Journal and other early Irish newspapers.
I have also transcribed various lists that have appeared in these early Irish newspapers. An index of these lists is here.
Some particularly interesting extracts are separately listed here.

Some trees of families that I am interested in can be found at this link.
