| LEP-CS | 1831 | 5 | 03 | NPS | DONNELLAN | John | A Case of great distress:The two orphan daughters of the late John DONNELLAN, Bookbinder, for the last 30 yearsa hard working and well conducted Tradesman in this Cityare now in a state of absolute want, to which they have been reduced by the ill health, and consequent decline of business their father had to endure for some considerable time before his death. They are without and relative here, and as their object is to proceed for Dublin where they have some friends likely to protect them, they humbly appeal to a generous and feeling public for the smallest donation to enable them to rescue themselves from their present affliction. As a small sum would enable these poor females to reach Dublin we make the appeal on their behalf. Any donation will be received for them at this and other Newspaper Offices, by the several Booksellers and Stationers, and gratefully acknowledged in the Public Journals, by these poor children of an old citizen driven by misery and want from the place of their nativity. | |
