He died without male issue, leaving an only daughter, from whom the present cliamant is immediately descended. The Ealdom of Meath went to his brother the next male heir. The title of Lord Brabazon also belongs to the eldest son of the Earl of Meath, but it is not generally known that the two Baronies existed, the claim having so long lain dormant. |
