Friday mornings are like open house. That is I open my house and I apologize for any mess I forgot to clean up or that Lara may have made.
Currently there are about 7 of us that meet. It used to be a formal class but that soon went out the window.
Now we are more of a get together group, so don't be surprised if you have to make the cups of tea and coffee. We do however sometimes have a structured bear project going.

Usually it is morning tea, someone often bakes something and then if it is a hit you will have to bring the recipe the following week, and your bears of course.
Some days there may be a little bit of book looking or sharing of knowledge on another craft subject like quilting, stitcheries or something we have never tried.

Whatever we do, we have a wonderful time and the ladies are ever so nice, if you should ever feel like calling in please do so. A quick tip though on how to tell who is who. Wendy is blonde, and the newly wed, and she makes superb hand painted glass ware, Deb is often doing a miniature or two or maybe even a clothe doll, Pam, well she makes the best morning tea, baking that is,yet. Especially if you can talk her into one of her chocolate cakes or a pav.

Maureen, is just a bundle of knowledge on most crafts and very good at them too. Kath, well what can I say about Kath, she has been with me as a student for several years and has become a very dear friend, and then there is Jill, new to the group but I think she will end up a bit of a character. People like my Friday ladies don’t come by every day but I sure am glad they came my way as they are such a friendly thoughtful bunch, and if they were to stop their visits I would miss them all for different reasons.

Yep Friday might be the last day of the week but for me it is the best day. The ladies will pick you up when you feel blue, so if you want a cuppa call in you will always be welcome.Besides you just might get some bear sewing done to.

PS If ever you are missing a bear, ask Lara she may be cuddle testing it.
Hope to see you soon
